Dwight Pelz - State Democrat Party Chair - regular attire
Last week, State Democratic Party Chairman Dwight Pelz, also
known as the high priest of party purity formally excommunicated Democratic
Senators Rodney Tom (D-Medina) and Tim Sheldon (D-Potlach) for ruining the
monopoly of Democrat control of all branches of Washington State
government. Both Senators appeared to laugh
it off, which will probably ensure that Dwight Pelz continues to send out
ranting emails about how these two state senators are not true Democrats. In an effort to purge the party of those who
are not pure Democrats, Dwight will don the priestly ceremonial costumes of his
office and keep the chant among the party faithful. Democrat Party supporter Ramtha has nothing on Dwight
Pelz.

Dwight Pelz - Enforcing Party Purity
Party purity is important to Dwight Pelz and most of the increasingly
radicalized and homogenized leadership in the Washington State Democrat
Party. In many ways, Dwight Pelz is
correct – neither Senator seems to have completely swallowed the irresponsible
spending and taxing programs, environmental extremist insanity, or the other
increasingly out-of-touch group-think positions taken by the Washington State
Democrat Party as a matter of both religion and policy. Part of the infliction of pain that Dwight
promised to the wayward state senators was to stop providing party support to
them during election time. To this, Senator
Tim Sheldon had the following response (quoted from Washington State Newswire):
“They’ve never given me any financial support, they do not
help my candidacy in any way, so it is
kind of funny that they want to withdraw support – I mean, what support? I make
a living running against Dwight Pelz and his Seattle liberals.”
Another point Sheldon made was that Dwight Pelz spelled his
name as “Shelton” (which is a town in Sheldon’s 35th legislative district) “He
doesn’t even spell my name right anymore,” he sighed.
We would like to encourage Dwight Pelz to continue his party
sponsored Jihad against any independent Democrats in the Washington State
Democrat Party who are not pure enough for the increasingly Leftist and nutty
Washington State Party. We have some
suggestions for other non-conformists he may want to chase away with his party
purity pogrom.

Dwight Pelz - Out of Costume
In the 31st Legislative District, Representative
Chris Hurst from Enumclaw is clearly outside Dwight Pelz’s purity circle. He accepts donations and election support
from the NRA, gun owners, hunters, builders and others who Dwight Pelz does not
allow in the clubhouse. Additionally,
Representative Hurst can’t even bring himself to run as a Democrat, preferring
to call himself an “Independent Democrat”- whatever that means. The other black mark against Representative
Hurst is the fact that he was a former police officer, and everyone knows that
a cop can’t really be a Democrat.
Out on the Wet Coast, we have Representative Brian Blake
(D-Aberdeen) who dares to defy the environmental extremists (and PETA) by
sponsoring a bill to allow cougar hunting by dogs and various other clear-eyed
proposals that do not follow orthodox Democrat Party dictates. Ex-communication may be in order there as
well.
In fact, rather than go through a full listing of all the
heterodox Democrat legislators, why not just go back to the last legislative
session and use the self-created list of Democrat legislators who were in the
“Road Kill” Caucus and demonize all of them as elected officials who have
failed the party purity test? As Dwight
dons his high priest costume and resumes his party purity purge ceremonies
surrounded by the Seattle purists, we wish him luck and support him in his
efforts. He may be crazy, but at least he
proudly wears the costume of a true Washington Democrat.
